The panel, consisting of Juan Williams, Monica Crowley, and, most comically, psychiatrist Dr. Keith Ablow, were all equally flabbergasted at the statements. “I don’t even understand how ’slut’ fits into this,” Williams wondered, while Crowley lamented the lack of vocal women’s groups supporting Ingraham. Dr. Ablow, meanwhile, wondered whether “the guy is okay,” comparing this to “Mel Gibson about the Jews” and pleading to Schultz that, “if he’s drinking or doing drugs, he should come forward.”

Why Obama liked the Birther movement
This is by far the most clear, and best point, I have read regarding the whole Birther scandal. Truth is he could have done this four years ago, and he didn't. He may have had a good reason, but I don't see what it could have been. Also I doubt he does anything for less than political reasons.

Is there any end to it all.
Everyone is going to get special treatment paid to them in teaching history. I think this will cause two harmful things to happen. In order to teach gay history, and black history, and womens history, and labor history focus will be taken away from our shared history as a nation. Without a shared history, we lose a little bit of what holds us together, and a little bit of who we are. The second issue, is teaching of history will suffer in general. Get the government out of schools.
