New Film Spoofs Michael Moore and Hollywood Liberals | NewsBusters.org

New Film Spoofs Michael Moore and Hollywood Liberals NewsBusters.org:

"Here's something you don't see every day: a film spoofing revered Hollywood
liberals such as schlockumentarian Michael Moore."

He is someone who dearly needs to be put in check if you ask me. He makes films with little regard for truth, with more focus on making something that supports what he and his followers already believe.

Bill O'Reilly of Fox News vs. Michael Moore

Michael Moore's New Health Care Solution: Coercion | NewsBusters.org

Michael Moore's New Health Care Solution: Coercion NewsBusters.org:

"“The way this works is, anytime they give you any grief – your insurance
company or whatever – you just whip this out and you say, ‘How would you like to
be in Michael Moore’s next movie or on the DVD of ‘SiCKO’?’ and … you know, it
says right here this card, if denied coverage, we’ll provide you coverage in a
Michael Moore film,” said Moore. "

This is silly and would fall apart as soon as it got started if it were ever attempted in mass. It doesn't take a genius to understand that Michael Moore is one person. One fat person who doesn't have enough cameras, enough time or enough energy to cover every person who finds them self in a disagreement with their coverage. I think Moore is getting blinded by his belief in is own power, which isn't nearly as great as he imagines.

CNN’s 11-Point Response to Michael Moore’s 11-Point Attack / Jossip

CNN’s 11-Point Response to Michael Moore’s 11-Point Attack / Jossip:

"“It’s ironic that someone who has made a career out of holding powerful
interests accountable is so sensitive to having his own work held up to the
light by impartial journalists, as we did in our examination of Sicko,” reads in
part a prepared statement from CNN, before they go on to attempt to shoot down
Moore’s claims one-by-one."

This is a good point by point discussion on the debate between Moore and Gupta and the issues that are in question.

Huckabee Personally Attacks Michael Moore | Air America Radio

Huckabee Personally Attacks Michael Moore Air America Radio:

"Former Arkansas governor and GOP presidential candidate, Michael Huckabee verbally attacked “Sicko” filmmaker Michael Moore, when he told a group of reporters, 'Frankly,
Michael Moore is an example of why the health care system costs so much in this
country. He clearly is one of the reasons that we have a very expensive system.
I know that from my own personal experience. I know how much more my health care
cost when I didn't take care of myself than when I do take care of myself, not
only in terms of doctor visits but regular diseases, illnesses, chronic things
that come up, monthly prescription bills. All of those things have gone
dramatically down since I've taken care of myself and worked to live a healthier
lifestyle.'"

While I have to point out that Huckabee, an also ran candidate for the White House, is clearly using Moore as a way of getting attention for himself, he does have a point. Moore has said that he is working on improving his health, by eating better and getting more exercise. That doesn't of course solve all the problems of the health system, accidents happen to the most careful and the most healthy.

American Thinker: Sicko Flatlines and Michael Moore Lashes Out

American Thinker: Sicko Flatlines and Michael Moore Lashes Out:

"Still, after ten days in wide national distribution, Sicko was performing below
expectations. In an interview in Time on May 17, Moore claimed that with Sicko
he was moving beyond the leftist ideology of his previous films and more towards
the political center: 'This film does cut across party lines.' On June 20,
another Time article (like most mainstream media, Time covered Sicko and Moore
repeatedly from every angle) was titled 'Michael Moore: 'I'm Mainstream Now.''
Clearly, Moore and his army of supporters were positioning the film for
mainstream acceptance and hit status beyond Fahrenheit 9/11's-his previous film
and the most successful money-making documentary in the history of motion
pictures.

But the box office numbers tell the story: In Sicko's
first three day weekend after it opened nationally on June 29 in 702 theaters,
its total gross was $3,600,179 or an average of $5,128 per theater. Fahrenheit
9/11 opened in 868 theaters on June 23, 2004 and grossed $23,920,637 over that
three day weekend, for an average of $27,558 per screen-more than five times the
per screen take for Sicko. Fahrenheit ultimately grossed $119,194,771 during a
114 day theatrical run in the U.S."

Maybe this is why he has been in such a cranky mood lately.

IOL: Larry King blasted for dumping Moore for Hilton

IOL: Larry King blasted for dumping Moore for Hilton:

"Nip/Tuck star Kelly Carlson has blasted US host Larry King for giving Paris
Hilton a priority slot on his talk show.

Carlson says King was 'wrong'
to postpone an interview with controversial filmmaker Michael Moore to make way
for the first post-jail Hilton interview.

She says: 'I think that's just
wrong."

Why, the only difference between Moore and Hilton, is that she is hot and he is fat.

PETA Calls Michael Moore a Fattie

A Socialite's Life: PETA Calls Michael Moore a Fattie

"'Although we think that your film could actually help reform America's sorely
inadequate health care system, there's an elephant in the room, and it is you.
With all due respect, no one can help but notice that a weighty health issue is
affecting you personally. We'd like to help you fix that.'"

I think that after he loses the weight he can learn how to make an honest movie.
