'Into the Wild' pilgrimages increase in Alaska - Yahoo! News

'Into the Wild' pilgrimages increase in Alaska - Yahoo! News:

"HEALY, Alaska - Ron Alexander has long been intrigued with the true story of a
young idealist who met his death in Alaska's unyielding wilderness in 1992."

This is a sad testimony to the low reading ability of the American public. I read the book, and in the book "Into the Wild", it is made abundantly clear the mistake that was made by McCandles and how it was a foolish trip, romantic but foolish. I think there is a deeper lesson in the book, and when I read it, it made me think about my family. The one thing the book talks about, which people over look, both in the book and in their lives.

No Ayn Rand for Angelina CelebWarship:

"The couple planned to team up for the film version of Ayn Rand’s novel

pregnant with twins."

This would be a great movie.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to be Made into Two Movies

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to be Made into Two Movies:

"The final Harry Potter book will be split into two movies to be released in
2010 and 2011."

Is this to tell the story better, or to get another movie out of the plot line - and thus more money?

ABC News: Will 'Kite Runner' Put Young Stars in Peril?

ABC News: Will 'Kite Runner' Put Young Stars in Peril?:

"Forster, Hosseini and Paramount -- the movie studio that is releasing the film
-- did not expect that the movie, which includes a sensitive child rape scene,
would put the child actors involved in danger. In fact, Forster said that people
had 'embraced' them for 'making a Hollywood film in an authentic way.'"

There are reports that they were warned by the boys parents. However, now that it is known, I don't see how these movie makers can't find a way to tell their story without the scene.

IGN: A Karate Kid Remake?!

IGN: A Karate Kid Remake?!:

"September 27, 2007 - IGN has been informed by a reliable source that Sony
Pictures is developing a remake of The Karate Kid that will be produced by Will
Smith's Overbook Entertainment and Jerry Weintraub. Weintraub also produced the
1984 film, starring Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita, and its three sequels."

I loved the movies when they came out. They were different than movies today are. I know how old that makes me sound, but it is true. I am excited that they will remake the movie, but worried that they will destroy it.

Celebrity news and entertainment from In Touch Weekly

Celebrity news and entertainment from In Touch Weekly:

"The top-secret project that is Indiana Jones 4 gave fans a little teaser last
night when Shia LaBeouf spilled the beans on the title while presenting an award
at the MTV Video Music Awards. 'I've been sworn to secrecy by Steven Spielberg
and George Lucas to not tell you the title of the next Indiana Jones movie,'
said Shia. 'But I'm 21 now...' Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal
Skull is slated for a May 22, 2008 release and has a star-studded cast,
including Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett and Shia. "

I loved the movie when I was a kid, but when I see pictures of Harrison and he looks like a grandpa, it doesn't make me excited to watch the new movie.

» Keanu Reeves In “The Day The Earth Stood Still” - Celebrity Pictures, Celebrity News, Celebrity Gossip on CelebrityPuke.com

» Keanu Reeves In “The Day The Earth Stood Still” - Celebrity Pictures, Celebrity News, Celebrity Gossip on CelebrityPuke.com:

"Variety magazine is reporting that Keanu Reeves is slated to act in 20th
Century Fox’s remake of the film classic “The Day The Earth Stood Still!” The
1951 Robert Wise original starred Michael Rennie as Klaatu, a humanoid alien who
arrives on Earth with his indestructible robot Gort. Klaatu’s mission is to warn
the Earth’s leaders that an alien race will annihilate them if they don’t make
up and play nice."

Not only do I think that this is a great movie, and a good movie to remake now. I also think that this is a good role for Keanu, I wonder if any other stars will be in it.

Timberlake and Mike Myers Doing Sports Comedy

Timberlake and Mike Myers Doing Sports Comedy

Justin will play a pro hockey player in the movie, which is set in the diverse
worlds of Indian spiritualism and professional ice hockey. Mike plays an
American left outside an Indian ashram and raised by gurus, who comes to the
U.S. as an adult teacher, hoping to spread his message of self-help and love.

Just the thought of Justin and Mike in a movie together sounds like it will be funny to me. I haven't seen any of Justin's movies - so when I say that it sounds funny, I don't mean it in the he is such a great actor movie. I doubt he can act, but you don't really act in comedies so that is ok.

Can Too Much Star Power Spoil "Not That Into You"? | POPSUGAR - Celebrity Gossip & News.

Can Too Much Star Power Spoil "Not That Into You"? POPSUGAR - Celebrity Gossip & News.:

"Yesterday we told you that Jennifer Aniston had joined the cast of He's Just

starting to make us a bit nervous about the fate of the movie. What do you think

As Scarlett Johansson joins the cast of "Not That Into You", some are asking if too much star power will be bad for the movie. I think that a movie can work with an abundance of stars, if it is a good movie. A great example of how a movie can work is Oceans 11 which was a great movie and was packed with stars. Of course an example of a bad movie packed with stars would be Oceans 12.

Faded Youth Blog » Blog Archive » CASTING NEWS!

Faded Youth Blog » Blog Archive » CASTING NEWS!:

"Aniston joins Jennifer Connelly, Kevin Connolly, Bradley Cooper, Justin Long,
Ginnifer Goodwin and Barrymore in the Baltimore-set movie of interconnecting
story arcs dealing with the challenges of reading or misreading human behavior.
Aniston will play a woman in a long-term relationship with a boyfriend who will
not commit to marriage."

This is really sounding like it is going to be a great movie. The book is great, though I haven't read it, I hear it is full of great advice on dating. This will also be a good way for Jennifer to make a come back, she is a beautiful womyn, but she still needs to make a solid come back - get her out of the shadow of Brad and Angelina.
