This has been a long time coming!

A judge ruled this Friday that director Roman Polanski, accused of engaging in unlawful sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl in 1978, must return to the U.S. so as to not 'manipulate the justice system' any further.

During Tuesday night's coverage of the Massachusetts special election, CNN and MSNBC aired only a fraction of the Republican candidate's speech. Fox News Channel aired both candidates' speeches in their entirety.

.... CNN only ran 26% of Brown's speech, while MSNBC aired 37%. Fox News Channel carried 100% of both speeches:

There are always rumors...

but these rumors are starting to sound serious.
clipped from gawker.com
The Brangelina break-up rumor continues to be the only gossip that matters, but we'll carry on anyway, or else the Aniston wins. Sure, Brangelina's rep denies that the pair has split. But The Sun has jumped on News of the World's initial break-up claim, with a source who says Brad's brother Doug convinced him to leave Angie over Christmas: "They barely spend time together and when they do it is very fraught. They want different things out of life." Brad's family remains resolutely Team Jen, and his desire to move permanently to New Orleans has also caused friction. Persuasive arguments for everlasting Brangelina do, however, abound. For instance: Ian Halperin, author of Brangelina: The Untold Story, says it's over and he's always getting stuff wrong. We'll keep a chorus of weeping Nepalese orphans on call, just in case. The more troubling question: Will we survive a Brangelina break-up?

Why men pay for sex...

This is a good read....
clipped from www.guardian.co.uk

Research published in 2005 found that the numbers of men who pay for sex had doubled in a decade. The authors attributed this rise to "a greater acceptability of commercial sexual contact", yet many of our interviewees told us that they felt intense guilt and shame about paying for sex. "I'm not satisfied in my mind" was how one described his feelings after paying for sex. Another told me that he felt "disappointed – what a waste of money", "lonely still" and "guilty about my relationship with my wife". In fact, many of the men were a mass of contradictions. Despite finding their experiences "unfulfilling, empty, terrible", they continued to visit prostitutes.

I felt compassion for Alex. No one had shown him how to form a bond with another human being and he was searching for something that commercial sex was never going to provide.

NBC... You failed.

I mean really, it is just one bad idea after another over there at NBC. It is like the old story about a guy who tries to have keep to girl friends. When they find out about each other, he runs back and forth trying to keep them both - but ends up losing them both.

There has been speculation about my going to another network but, to set the record straight, I currently have no other offer and honestly have no idea what happens next. My hope is that NBC and I can resolve this quickly so that my staff, crew, and I can do a show we can be proud of, for a company that values our work.

That makes sense...

... But does that include countries like Germany and The UK, where there it has been proven that Al-Qaeda operates.
