"South Carolina, (no, I don't know her real name, nor to I care to learn it,
when I see that she's making a Mazda MX-3 a day!) has been signed to Donald
Trump's, agency/bordello, Trump Model Management. I say to her, bravo! Congrats
on your new conquest in life, and let me be the first to wish you 'the' good
luck on your quests braving the subways, and all of those difficult 'the' maps,
and such. No, I'm sure NYC will welcome you with open arms."
In the long running battle of looks versus brains, this is a clear point for the looks side of the equation.
» It’s Not Britney Spears, It’s The Chaos Around Her! - Celebrity Pictures, Celebrity News, Celebrity Gossip on CelebrityPuke.com:
"Britney Spears took cutie little Sean Preston out shopping in Beverly Hills
yesterday! In the first picture Britney looks pissed! But Britney’s good at
crowd control, and after she demanded space from the mob of fans and photog’s,
everything quickly simmered down. After about twenty minutes of shopping,
Britney smiled to the waiting crowd and headed home, just like a normal
Can anyone blame her for being pissed. It is one thing the way she gets mobbed when she is alone. When he has her children with her she should get more space and respect than she does. The photographers are putting her children in danger. Even if it is just a bump or a scratch, it is hard for kids to understand why this is all going on.

"Jackson sharply criticized presidential hopeful and Illinois Sen. Barack Obama

six black juveniles’ arrest on attempted-murder charges in Jena, La. Jackson,
who also lives in Illinois, endorsed Obama in March, according to The Associated
This sounds like the politics of the left, if you don't support our cause of the moment. Even if you do, and you don't support it enough. You are clearly on the otherside and an enemy who should be attacked.
"Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has had his request to visit ground zero
rejected by New York authorities. White House spokesman Gordon Johndroe thought
he request to be ridiculous since Iran “is a state sponsor of terror would visit
There doesn't seem to be reason to ban him from visiting the site. At the same time, there isn't a reason that he should be at the site. Knowing Ahmadinejad, he would probably turn it into an attempted political attack, the only question is who that would hurt more. Ahmadineiad by those who would be disgusted by his defiling the site, or America. My odds are that he would suffer, looking like a heartless goon.
"SEPTEMBER 20--Norman Hsu, the disgraced Hillary Clinton fundraiser, confessed
to the FBI last week that his purported business empire was nothing but a
pyramid scheme and that he pressured the investors he duped into contributing to
political candidates he supported. Hsu was named today in a three-count criminal
complaint charging him with mail and wire fraud, and a violation of federal
election law. According to the complaint, an excerpt of which you'll find below,
Hsu contacted FBI agents last Thursday and said he 'wanted to speak with them
about his current criminal activity without his lawyers present.'"
Of course this all happened without the candidates he was raising funds for knowing. Honestly, that might be the case, but I am doubtful.
"Dan Rather has reportedly filed a $70 million lawsuite against CBS,
Viacom, and three of his former bosses. According to TMZ, Rather claims that CBS
and the execs there 'tarnished his reputation and made him a scapegoat for a
discredited report on President Bush's National Guard service. The lawsuit also
claims that CBS violated his contract by taking him off the air after the
fallout from that story. "
Without knowing how much he had to do with the story, I can't say how much he is to blame. A story that big, and in a network like CBS, he couldn't have been the only one who had worked on the story. I am inclined to believe that most of the work was done by staffers and other producers. At the end of the day though, the network dumped it all on Rather. It ruined his career, in an attempt to save the networks image, and failed doing that.
"A smoking gun that could snuff out a hot debate over skeletal remains dubbed
the 'hobbit' is in hand, literally, according to a group of scientists. Three
wrist bones provide key evidence supporting the argument that fossil remains of
an ancient, undersized individual represent a new hominin species that walked
the Earth with modern humans, say the study scientists."
This does make a strong point for those who believe that it is a new species. If you know anything about science, and this branch in particular, you know that nothing is going to snuff out the debate. Every thing that can be read one way, can often be read other ways. There is still some debate about Homosaphiens and Cromagnum ancestors mating.

FOXNews.com - Elisabeth Hasselbeck: I Tried to Keep Cool During Spat With Rosie O'Donnell - Celebrity Gossip | Entertainment News | Arts And Entertainment
"NEW YORK — Elisabeth Hasselbeck says she tried to keep her cool during her
heated on-air spat with Rosie O'Donnell on 'The View' earlier this year. 'I
almost had the same feeling in me as when I had a championship (softball) game
and I was up to bat and the pressure was on,' the 30-year-old co-host tells
Pregnancy magazine. "
Girl, you did fine. She was being rude and insulting to you. You had every reason in the world to be upset by her belittling remarks. She had been talking down to you for months. Treating you like you were stupid because you didn't share the same high minded views that she does.
FOXNews.com - Man Gets 421 Years in Prison After Admitting to Raping Teen Who Text Messaged for Help - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News
"BEAUFORT, S.C. — A man who pleaded guilty to kidnapping a 14-year-old girl and
raping her for more than a week in an underground bunker was sentenced Wednesday
to the maximum 421 years in prison. 'I have a strong belief you have forfeited
your right to be a member of this society,' Judge G. Thomas Cooper said before
handing down the sentence. 'I can think of no crimes short of murder more
repulsive than these.'"
There is no justice in a case like this, in a case that is this violent.
"The Soviet flag flew again, in Washington DC, at the ANSWER Coalition
demonstration last weekend."
I was watching a gathering in Jenna, and saw a similar situation that made me see a mistake that the left makes too often. They take an issue like the Jenna six, or the war in Iraq. They take a stand on these issues that many Americans have doubts about, many of our leaders have doubts about. The system hasn't given them the results that these protesters have wanted. In many cases the process is ongoing. The war in Iraq for example, there are many people in the government that are trying to end this war. In Jenna there are people that are gathering to confront what is seen as an injustice, the news is covering the story and there is a strong discussion about it.
The mistake that the left makes, is that they take these emotional issues, use them as an attack on America as a country. When I see someone flying a flag upside down, I don't think that they are making a comment about the case of the Jenna six or the war in Iraq. The statement that they are making is that this country is a bad place, they are insulting their country. There are many people who get upset when they see things like this. These are people who might be sympathetic to the causes, but turn away in disgust at this open disregard of respect for flag and country. Attacking America as a country, as a system, as an ideology distracts from the message of the real problems that need to be resolved. It also alienates people from your cause.
"The government-controlled stock exchange in Dubai, the fast-growing
Middle East business center, is expected to announce today in Stockholm that it
plans to take significant ownership in the Nasdaq stock exchange in New York and
the London Stock Exchange, people who have been briefed on the transaction said
last night. If the deal is completed, Dubai would become the first Middle East
government to own a large stake in an American stock exchange. It also is
expected to become the largest single investor in Nasdaq."
I think it is time we stopped this irrational racist fear of all things Arabian. Not everyone in the Middle East is a terrorist, not all of them are even Islamic - any more than all Americans are Christian. Dubai is a remarkably international and modern city. The only foundation to block this investment would be xenophobia.
"James Dobson, one of the nation's most politically influential evangelical
Christians, made it clear in a message to friends this week he will not support
Republican presidential hopeful Fred Thompson. In a private e-mail obtained
Wednesday by The Associated Press, Dobson accuses the former Tennessee senator
and actor of being weak on the campaign trail and wrong on issues dear to social
I'm not sure it is clear at this point who he is supporting. What is clear is that he is not supporting Thompson and he isn't supporting Giuliani. It is a hard place to be in, either support one of the lead candidates, or risk losing credibility by supporting someone that doesn't rank in the polls at all. If they move to support a candidate that ranks in the single digits in the polls, they will have shown their hand as being weak. They will lose standing politically. If they support a candidate that brings in a large number of voters, at the cost of compromise on their ideas, the base could revolt.
"Rejection is sweeping the Muslim world. Rejection of al-Qeada. Somewhat because
they keep losing to The Great Satan, but mostly because of all the death and
destruction they have wrought in the Muslim community. It was not the US who
used Chlorine filled tanker-trucks as bombs on open markets in Iraqi villages.
It was al-Qaeda. "
This is a good thing that al-Qaeda is being rejected by the Muslim world. I still think that they need to start doing so in a louder voice. It is also a concern to me, just exactly what they are rebelling against. They are not upset about the killing of innocent lives, that wasn't enough of a concern after 9-11 to get them to act. They are upset about the killing of innocent Muslims. How many of these critics will go silent, if terror takes its attacks back to being focused on westerners. I think most of them.
"Geez, Congress has just about pissed off the entire country in less than a
year. There must be multiple records in here somewhere. If I were the Dems I
would not be cocky but try to go back the “humble servant of the people” thing.
With only 11% support (less than half of Bush’s support at 26%), Congress needs
to start asking what it can do to avoid being summarily fired in 2008. No more
dictating. Some serious a$$ kissing to We The People is in order"
I think that with Congress and the President blocking each others actions, the nation doesn't take sides, it throws them both out. The President and Congress unpopular for the same reason, they won't work together to solve what are real problems facing the country.
FOXNews.com - Nude Alicia Silverstone Vegetarian Ad Pulled in Houston - Celebrity Gossip | Entertainment News | Arts And Entertainment
"The TV commercial, which Silverstone was doing for the People for the Ethical
Treatment of Animals (PETA), had been scheduled to launch on Wednesday. But
Comcast Cable, which had planned to carry the spot, banned the ad because
Silverstone is naked, according to media reports."
I guess that not everyone was as excited to see her naked as I was. It isn't pornographic or anything, it is tastefully done. This must come from the same people that wanted the naked statues of justice covered in the Supreme Court.
"The vote today condemning the Moveon Petraeus ad is an excellent example of the
Iron Law of Institutions—ie, that people within institutions act to increase
their own power rather than the power of the institution itself. A retarded
baboon could understand it was in the long run best interests of the Democratic
party as an institution to stand united against the bill. Yet 22 Democrats voted
for it, thus passing it 70+ to 25."
Maybe it wasn't personal ambition but personal conviction that made them vote for this law.
"Palast says he is offering the journalism student a job as a paid intern. Meyer

"It really is Rudy v. Fred now. One of the few polling companies that
I truly respect and pay a lot of attention to is Mason-Dixon. When last they
polled South Carolina, and this was back in June, they had undeclared Fred at
25% and Rudy at 21%."
Of course the hard right doesn't want either one of them to be president. The right is at the same point that the left was at in 2000. Having gotten their side in power for eight years, and not having achieved the goals that they had dreamed of. Bush has been in power for eight years, and he has not put through many of the goals that the conservative base wanted. This is good news for the Democrats, because the base was uninspired in 2000 for the Democrats, they didn't come out to vote for Gore a nominee that they didn't like. I think the right is going to have the same problem, their voters are not going to come out to vote for a leader that they don't like. After eight years of having one of their own in office that disappointed them.
FOXNews.com - New Home Construction at Slowest Pace in 12 Years - Business And Money | Business News | Financial News
"WASHINGTON — Construction of new homes fell in August to the slowest pace in 12

in August to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1.331 million units."
Too much of our economy is now based on real estate, and money associated with it. I think that if we don't create a solid base for long term economic survival, we are going to suffer.
Separate from any controversy about child-labor laws or Draconian legal waivers, parts of the show are a bit creepy. In the debut, the kids are told that they can decide to "give up" and leave at the town halls (tribal councils?), a phrase loaded with "You don't want to be a quitter, do you?" peer pressure. And while there's nothing new about the kid who misses his parents and cries a lot at summer camp, there is something intrusive about having a camera shoved into that kid's face.

It is being reported that Lindsay Lohan is considering writing a memoir of her
life. Ummm…. I bet this will be the best read EVER! She plans to chronicle her
drug and alochol abuse and her rehab stay.
She has a life that lots of people would want to read about. I am sure that she will have people working with her, helping her write and edit it. I think it will be an interesting book to read.
In the Wes Anderson short Hotel Chevalier, eight minutes in we have Jason
Schwartzman beginning to undress Portman. After taking off her boots, he sits on
the bed while she stands in front of him. He pulls down her pants revealing her
panties. He then pulls them off and, voila, there's Portman's ass. Full view. No
cutaways. No Goya body double. It's a one shot and it's all her. At 10 minutes
in there's another shot of Portman standing naked leaning on a dresser. We see
just a little bit more ass but her clearly naked body covers strategically
covers up the rest.
Their real, the naked scenes are real. This is going to be a popular movie with guys.
Was it the nude photo scandal that broke apart Vanessa Anne Hudgens
and Hairspray boyfriend Zac Efron? If you’re a male, the answer is probably who
cares. While the naked pic has finally been confiscated from us, the good news
is that Vanessa is definitely on the market…this coming most likely after Zac
realized he actually likes guys instead.
The rumors are picking up steam, the magical young couple of Zac and Vanessa have come to an end. That means if you are a young Nick Lachey wantabe, you can try for a young Vanessa Minnillo look alike.
Paris Hilton reportedly has a new boyfriend, a Swedish tourist, Alex Vaggo. A
source revealed to In Touch Weekly:
"He's travelling through town, and one of Paris' friends met him and introduced them. He's really shy. Alex is obviously smitten with Paris and is clearly falling for her."
This sounds so sweet. I know a lot of people have a negative attitude about Paris. I am not one of those people. She is looking for love, just like the rest of us. There is no reason she shouldn't find it. Best of luck to you Paris.

It was the unbreakable Hayden Panettiere who threatened to “kill” a staffer from
Us Weekly over something she wrote about her in a recent issue. (Sources have
since confirmed that it was this item that had HP’s barely legal panties in a
bunch.) Just when it looked like Hayden was about to pull a Sylar on said

Does she really think that she is the cheerleader? What is this with threatening to kill someone.
TMZ has obtained an audiotape recorded about an hour after Simpson left. Bruce
Fromong, one of the alleged victims, is heard saying, "I've already called the
press." Fromong continues, "I've already called "Inside Edition." I'm trying to
get Lydia's number, but it was in my f*****g phone that he stole."
Fromong rants at Alfred Beardsley, the other alleged victim, saying, "I told you we
shouldn't have brought this s**t in. I told you." Beardsley replies, "Bruce,
Bruce, Bruce, do you know how much money you're gonna make off this?" Fromong
responds, "I don't give a s**t."
Sounds like this guy is not only a moron, but a bit of a slime ball as well. If this was all a setup by someone, that is going to play well for OJ's defense. Imagine if he gets off again, we would have to stop calling him the juice and start calling him the grease.
