"'Since online journalism is still in its relative infancy it's one that
can be solved,' writes Jonathan Rosenberg (left). 'The experience of consuming
news on the web today fails to take full advantage of the power of technology.
It doesn't understand what users want in order to give them what they need. When
I go to a site like the New York Times or the San Jose Mercury, it should know
what I am interested in and what has changed since my last visit."
He has a really good point. The news of the past waited for the reader to come to it, the news of the future will need to find ways to reach out to the reader. That means on the web, on phones, and using information in interactive formats.
"HONG KONG (MarketWatch) -- Toyota Motor Corp. plans to cut its global
production to 6.5 million vehicles this year, down 20% from the 8.21 million
units it produced in 2008, according to a Japanese media report Monday."
Now this really is a bad economic sign.
"In case you haven’t heard, Octugranpa Ed Doud, father of Nadya Suleman has
taped an interview with Oprah Winfrey that is slated to air on Tuesday."
People are just crawling out of the wood-work for this story aren't they.
"Looks like adorable little Harlow Madden is getting a sibling! Joel Madden has
announced on Good Charlotte's official website that he and Nicole Richie are
expecting their second child together."
This whole relationship between Nicole and Joel seems to be working out. If this is true, congrats to her and her family.
"Jennifer Love Hewitt celebrates her 30th birthday Saturday morning by visiting
the Tiffany’s store in Beverly Hills. Jennifer literally had Breakfast at
Tiffany’s as she sipped coffee and munched on a bagel as photographers took her
picture inside and outside the store."
Happy Birthday J-Love!!!
"A man who says he may be the biological father of Nadya Suleman's octuplets is
entering the spotlight with an offer to help support the single mom of 14."
Would she know? It is easy enough to find out if he is the Octo-Father or not.

It appears the 17 year old girl friend is the focus of questions by police and the media at this point.
Authorities will scale back the hunt for missing Florida girl Haleigh Cummings after extensive searches for the girl turned up no new leads, The Gainesville Sun reported Monday.
"Kanye West has already appointed himself “the voice of our generation,” and now
Paris Hilton has stepped forward to accept “icon of the decade” honors. The
world is going to Hell in a handbasket!"
Paris for better or worse, really is the icon of the decade.
"He'd been cheating on her for years. She had his babies, she endured the other
"The sex offender database and tween world are about to spin off their axis
right now because Jonas Brother, Nick Jonas, and Selena Gomez have officially
broken up. Like OMG!! Text the cell, girl! Text the cell!!!"
Wow, breaking news in the world of high entertainment. I'm not so sure I like what I call the Disney Effect. It all seems focused on making kids act like teenagers when they are still in their Tween years. That aside, these kids are now stars, and actually aren't kids.
