I'm not sure this is fair...
The media really created the problem. They are the ones who turned his whisper into a shout heard around the world. I say charge them, they no doubt made more than enough to cover the bill from their coverage.

Conservatives think about and talk about Muslims, Arabs and terrorists like they are all one in the same. However, not all Muslims in America are Arab, even in the Middle East, Iranians are not Arab, they are Persian. Americans need to develop a better understanding of Islam, and the people both here and around that world who choose that as a faith.

Who is using who here?
I think the relationship between this nutty pastor and the nutty media is two sided. Both are getting something out it. Viewers, and news consumers on the other hand are not.

Of course they have the right to burn Korans, but should they? No, I don't think so. It is a pointless gesture that is only going to fuel more hatred and fear in this world. I doubt Jesus would approve - not that they care.

What a silly claim for Maher to make....
Mainstream Media, or liberal media, or whatever you want to call it has taken a fair number of shots at religion - and Christianity. It has also done a fair amount of supporting it as well. I'm not sure why Maher would even make a claim, that on the surface can so easily be shown false.

Cupp for her new book Losing Our Religion: The Liberal Media's Attack on Christianity. “Liberals are not atheists any more than conservatives are. Michael Moore is religious! We don't want to see your faith
I am confused to how this restriction is going to change things in the country, Won't there still be Muslims, and won't they still have their faith, and won't they still gather to celebrate it? It is a pointless gesture that while being insulting, changes nothing.

There are a lot of strange religions in the world... but of all the ones I have experienced, I really think Scientology takes the cake. When I went to their center in Portland, they showed us a video, which proclaimed that L. Ron Hubbard was man's greatest friend. It went into detail, more so than Ghandi, Martin Luther King Jr, Jesus... Common, he was a science fiction writer!

No virginity? The idea not having sex is worse than having sex? What are the lessons they are trying to teach young womyn. I am not the biggest supporter of wait until marriage, but at least a girl should be taught to wait until it means something, and is special. Sex isn't a game.
