What is wrong with Krauthammer?

Does he really think the American people would rise up in revolution, over something the EPA does. Now maybe if the EPA tried to taking Dancing With the Stars off the air. Honestly though, this guy must hang out with a bunch of strange people for the things he assumes Americans believe and will do.

Iranian People should be Time Person of The Year

By standing up to one of the most repressive governments in the world, and putting their own lives in danger they were an example to all humynity. The power of freedom rests on the will of people to fight for it. The Iranian people have shown they have that will.

in reference to:

"The events that unfolded in Iran following the contested presidential election have transfixed the world. Much of the information that came out of (and into) the country traveled over social media services as a result of censorship and blocking of communications systems by the government."
- Yasamin Beitollahi: Iranian Protesters Should Be Time Magazine's "Persons of the Year 2009" (view on Google Sidewiki)

Time Person of the year

I agree, they deserve it more than anyone else. They have out life and limb on the line to stand up for what is right.

Did I say in stone?

What a short turn around from setting an end date, to talking about a date when things will begin to change towards an end date. In case you don't know already Obama is not a new type of politician, he is the same as the rest.

To take some of the sting out of his decision to send an additional 30,000 troops to Afghanistan, President Obama laid out an exit strategy by setting a date -- July 2011 -- on which troops will begin withdrawing. The president, through Robert Gibbs, described the date as "locked in," "etched in stone," and having "no flexibility. Troops will start coming home in July, 2011. Period."

Sounds pretty definite.

But just four days later, members of Obama's cabinet were directly contradicting their boss.

Did they get tired of Nazi comparisons?

Why can't we have a debate about issues without these kinds of silly attacks? From one side to the other and back again, all they do is serve to make the American public
