"Yet in context, it's quite logical to conclude Coulter means that, as a
Christian, she would like everyone to embrace Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior,
hence securing them eternal life in Heaven. Grounded in historical Christian
teaching, her desire for all to believe in Jesus (and hence be Christians) is
not a racist or genocidal point-of-view, but a loving, religious one, however
awkwardly stated it may have been in her recent interview. "
There is the point, that while her language was lacking, it falls short of being hate speech. She was not wishing people to die, or to go to hell, it could be argued that she believed she was wishing for them to live and go to heaven. I am not a Christian, so it is hard to defend her on this issue. I don't think what she said was right, but it clearly isn't hate speech to me.
