"A Texas woman is demanding an apology from her city’s mass transit system after
she was booted off a bus for reading the Bible aloud, MyFoxDFW.com reported
Monday.
Christine Lutz was on her way to church and reading passages to her
children on The T bus when the driver suddenly interrupted her."
It would have been annoying to be a passenger on the bus and have to listen to the lady read aloud to her children. This is going to be played as a religious issue, but it is really an issue of a public disturbance. A city bus is not the right place to listen to music, read out loud, or other activities that make ridership for others uncomfortable.
