Starbucks Gossip: Starbucks releases the list of stores that will close by the end of July:

"'Poor real estate decisions that were made, coupled with a very troubled
economy, convinced us that these stores would not reach acceptable levels of
profitability,' Howard Schultz wrote in a memo to employees earlier this week."

Click the link to see the whole list, state by state. I think I would add to this that the company competes with itself too much. Why go to Starbucks when you can get one of its coffee drinks from Safeway, or Longs or a number of other stores.
