This little girl says it all, why does she choose the white girl as the good girl? Because it looks like her and the dark one doesn't. Racism is something that is natural, which isn't to say it is acceptable. Acceptance is something you teach your children about, you teach them to be understanding. The impulse of nature is to trust that which is familiar and fear that which isn't. The test this girl takes is not something her mother should be crying about.
