This is a crazy story, crimes like this happen every day to normal people and it isn't news. It doesn't mean anything, it doesn't mean crime is up or down, or tax cuts are needed or not needed. It is what it is, and what it is, is a man who wanted money for something and asked the first person he thought he could get it from.

If we cannot keep more of our own money, muggers are going to have to work over time. This guy could have gotten everything he wanted from one victim, but because Mika Brzezinski only had a measly six bucks, he had to probably go hold up a couple or three more people to make his take. That puts that many more people in danger, and, of course, the mugger risks getting caught with each attempt here at fleecing somebody. He could end up in jail as well. I mean, how is it that Drive-By infobabe on the road doesn't have enough money to help out a fellow citizen who's down on his luck. This country is better than that.

I don't think that Americans ever think of wars as being popular. Paris Hilton is popular, Britney Spears is popular. There is something wrong about calling a war popular, most of all a war that would be as disastrous as a war with Iran.

"I'm going to get into this. If 'Editor & Publisher' wants to write
something about this, and editorialize about it, that's one thing. But I don't
think Bill O'Reilly has any place to pass judgment on a news organization for
being biased. Bill O'Reilly brings his opinions to his show every night, and
there's nothing wrong with that. Fox News, I did some guest-hosting at Fox News,
was up there. [Snickers] Those people, from the second you walk in, from the
person who takes you to the elevator, the person who briefs you, they're all

The right to produce shows as they see fit is a right that I think Fox News has, its viewers will think for themselves and choose what they want to watch. Even Bill O'Reilly has the right to his own brand of journalism, which some find to be harsh and biased. However, it is his brand of journalism that makes this statement something like the pot calling the kettle black.

theory with a comment about the NBC newsroom booing Bush in 2003 during a State
of the Union Speech. This morning in the first hour of his MSNBC show, Morning
Joe, Scarborough criticized O'Reilly for using an event happening four years ago
adding that most of the people no longer work at MSNBC. Scarborough asserted
that he has offered to debate O'Reilly about MSNBC but has been ignored. He
claimed that he has not changed his conservative views and his criticism of the
administration is rooted in his conservative principles. As he took a friendly
call from Pat Buchanan, he suggested they get Tucker Carlson in ' bow tie and
pajamas' to join the call to illustrate the absurdity of O'Reilly's constant
accusations."

It really sounds like O'Reilly is going off the deep end - maybe he is off his meds.

It looks like Joe is going to get the show. I think he would be a good choice for that slot. He leans to the right, but more often than not, he doesn't do so in the same way that Bill O'Reilly does.
