The sad truth of the Internet, is that it is hard to see that it is a real person out there, real people are reading this blog. In a chat room, when you are cruel to someone, it is a real person that you are being mean to. Why would you say things online that you wouldn't say to their faces. In this case, it is even more disturbing because it was an adult that was abusing a child. If this were a case of one teenager mocking another, it would be different. Adults should understand and be aware of their words better than that.
