Watching Those We Chose: Still unanswered -- What liberal media?

Watching Those We Chose: Still unanswered -- What liberal media?:

"From left to right, top to bottom: The Two George Bushes in 1990;
President-elect Bill Clinton in 1992; Newt Gingrich in 1995; Ken Starr and Bill
Clinton, The Impeachment of the President 1998; President-elect George W. Bush
in 2000; Rudy Giuliani, Tower of Strength in 2001; President George W. Bush,
American Revolutionary in 2004.

Of American politicians since 1990, TIME
picked one Democrat twice versus five Republicans six times for Person of the
Year. Will news media in general continue to favor Republicans? You betcha.
They've been at it a long time."

I think the key here is that people start with the conclusion that they want to come to and find the data to support it. If you are talking about the media as a whole, it is too large of a body to be on the left or on the right and I think that as a whole there is balance. You can talk about different people, or different shows, even different media outlets, being on the left or the right, but still these bodies are made up of a number of people who call the shots. It would be hard to hold a party line, even if they wanted to. Again you can talk about individuals, and you can point to patters, but patterns in individual behavior are first of all hard to prove.

One thing I have seen is that there are comments that are made by people in the media, that get spun by each side into something that fits their conclusions. What they spin it into is close enough to be true, that it could be - but not close enough that it must be.
