BBC NEWS | Middle East | France warning of war with Iran

BBC NEWS Middle East France warning of war with Iran:

"'We have to prepare for the worst, and the worst is war,' Mr Kouchner said
in an interview on French TV and radio. Mr Kouchner said negotiations with Iran
should continue 'right to the end', but an Iranian nuclear weapon would pose 'a
real danger for the whole world'. 'We have to prepare for the worst, and the

This is a strong sign that the crisis with Iran is not going to devolve into the same crisis that Iraq has fallen into. I think that if global opinion, and key nations had been more united against Saddam, the war in Iraq would have either never happened or been a much different and far more successful battle. That lack is on the presidents shoulders as much as it is the leaders of other key nations. The president did not show a willingness to work with others.
