"Unsurprisingly, comedian and sometimes guest-host Sherri Shepherd will
officially be joining the ladies at The View. In the beginning of the summer,
she was rumored to be taking the spot but then ran into problems during salary
negotiations. Those snags have apparently been worked through as sources are
confirming to People.com that Sherri will absolutely fill the fifth and final
seat on the talk show, joining newbie Whoopi Goldberg, who began her tenure as
the show's moderator this week.Unsurprisingly, comedian and sometimes guest-host

I think this is a poor choice for the show, I think that having three comedians on the show is going to bring down the quality of the discussion. Rosie was not someone that I liked on the show, but she did change the nature of the show to the point where it at least touched on serous issues in a serous way.
