Power of 10 on two nights a week

Power of 10 on two nights a week

CBS' Power of 10, carrying on the proud and recent tradition of primetime game
shows that involve absolutely no skill whatsoever, will air Tuesdays at 8:00
p.m. in addition to its usual timeslot of Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m. The
two-nights-a-week format will continue for the remainder of the summer, bumping
NCIS to 10:00 p.m.

Is someone over at the programing department for CBS on crack. They are pushing back NCIS, one of the best shows on TV for The Power of Ten. The Power of Ten is perhaps one of the worst shows I have ever seen, not as bad as "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader". I think they are making a mistake putting it on two nights a week. If people have to wait a whole week before they can see it, they might forget how bad it is.

Drew Carey Injured on ‘TPIR’--Bumpshack.com

Drew Carey Injured on ‘TPIR’--Bumpshack.com:

"Sources on the set tell TMZ that today during rehearsals “Price’s” new host got
his arm caught in a game with some sort of rotating device. Wheel of misfortune!
Doesn’t sound serious though — we’re told Carey was well enough to make his
lunch appointment. When we contacted his managers, all we were told was “He’s
fine and everything’s OK.” They had no additional info."

Now that would have been worth watching.

When Carey was up for the show, I said that I thought he would make a great host. I am beginning to think I might have been wrong. I watched The Power of Ten, and it is the worst show ever, ok honestly "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?", is worse. I don't know if they show is really bad, it is bad, or if he did a bad job as host. At times he seemed very uncomfortable on the stage with the contestant.

Double whammy of Drew Carey coming | TV Blog

Double whammy of Drew Carey coming TV Blog:

"Carey’s “Power of 10” arrives next month on CBS primetime, asking contestants
how they think the majority of Americans answered various questions, from the
silly (how many people don’t wear underwear) to the serious. Some of you might
be surprised to learn that 69 percent of Americans say they would call the cops
if they saw a Mexican crossing the border illegally."

You know what would make this show even better, is if the were two teams that had to compete against each other. Hey and just for fun you could make the two teams families. Since it is a competition, you could call it Family Feud.... oh wait, there already is a show called Family Feud.

Is The Price Right for Drew Carey?

A Socialite's Life:Is The Price Right for Drew Carey?

"It sounds like Rosie O'Donnell's dream of taking over the hostinggig for
'The Price is Right,' is probably not going to come to fruition. Luckilyfor her,
the consolation prize is getting to be on a cruise with our own J.Harvey. It
sounds like Drew Carey has been tapped to reprise Bob Barker's roleon the game
show at CBS. From the New York Daily News:"

I was disappointed a couple days ago to see a report that didn't name Carey as having a shot for the job. I think he would be great on the show, he has the energy and the humor to bring new spark to it. It is an old show, and if you are going to keep people tuned into it, you have to give them something new to be excited about.

Drew Carey is latest contender for The Price is Right - TV Squad

Drew Carey is latest contender for The Price is Right - TV Squad:

"Drew Carey is the latest name to be mentioned for hosting The Price is
Right, according to Variety. Apparently CBS and FremantleMedia North America
have already spoken to Carey about the gig. Carey is already in a relationship
with CBS as he is hosting the game show, Power of 10, which premieres in August.
"

I think the Carey could be exactly the right person for the show. The show needs someone who is going to bring new energy and a new audience in order for it to thrive in the shadow of Barkers exit.
