elsewhere, he brought up Afghanistan and said, “We’ve got to get the job done
there and that requires us to have enough troops so that we’re not just
air-raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous pressure
over there.”"
If you actually listen to what he is saying, he is talking about mistakes that are being made in strategy and planning of the war. He is not attacking the troops as those on the right would have you believe.
