Karzai Admits No Progress On The Hunt For bin Laden | Air America Radio

Karzai Admits No Progress On The Hunt For bin Laden Air America Radio:

"Before leaving for his visit with President Bush, Hamid Karzai, Afghan president, on capturing Osama bin Laden said 'We are not closer, we are not further away from it. We are where we were a few years ago.'"

I think there are more important concerns than going after Bin Laden, the terror network that he inspires is not going to cease to exist if he is captured. If we happen to get intelligence on where he is, we should make an effort to arrest or kill him, or push to have it done by another government if they will not allow our forces. Terror does not begin and end with Bin Laden though, and long after he is gone, there will be enemies in this world that hate America. I think there are more important ways invest our capital resources and military resources than chasing down an old man in a cave.
