"Life + Style mag is reporting that Britney Spears's new album, which was
due out this fall, has been delayed until sometime in 2008, and that her rep has
put her services on hold. 'I put her on hiatus,' her rep told the weekly
magazine. 'Brit's album is pushed until '08. If she has no album, there's no
reason to do anything. I'm representing her in theory right now. I said that
since the album is pushed back until '08, let's go on hiatus until we have a
campaign to do.'"
I think Britney should be bringing this music out as soon as she can, the image of her in the public right now is not very good. If she does not take action to counter it, it will only be worse in another year. Look at Michael Jackson, I think part of the problem that he had with his public image was the he stopped making music, and lost that connection with his fans.
