While I understand what O'Reilly is saying, I defend everyones right to free speech. I think the whole political discussion in this country has turned into playground name calling and is it hurting our political process. Does that mean that celebrities should not insult the president, or call him names? I think they should be free to do so. The millions of people they speak too, either agree with them or they don't, does O'Rielly really think that millions of Americans are stupid enough to think that the president is a retard because Chris Rock says so? I disagree with the president on many things, and when I hear these names, it makes me wish we could bring the discussion to a level of real topics. Hearing the names that people call Hillary Clinton does not change what I think about her, discussion of what she stands for does. In the end I think that I would look down on someone for using that nature of language more than I would the target of the language.

Couple tries to have sex with child
A couple in Oregon are being charged for attempting have have sex with a child. According to authorities the couple believed they were exchanging drugs for sex with a child. When they arrived to meet the child, they were met instead by a Federal law-enforcement officer. Christopher Dudley, 27, and Rhea Hamm, 22, had made the arrangement on the Internet to have sex with a five-year-old girl, but they were part of a sting. The officer pretended to be the father of a five-year-old girl, the couple talked about previous sexual encounters with an eight-year-old girl. When told that she should not participate if she did not want to, Hamm told the undercover officer that she wanted it.
Britney's New Man
Britney Spears' new man, in an interview talks about his relationship with Spears. While Jason Filyaw would not admit to dating Spears, he talked about how spiritual their relationship was. Filyaw, who is attending AA meeting with Spears and says is helping her with her spiritual growth told TMZ. "I love her, I support her 100% and we are close".
NY'ers are mad...
An article posted at CNN suggests that the person who was captured on video beating and stealing from an old lady should leave New York. I would suggest that getting out of New York is not far enough away. The attack took place as 101-year-old Rose Morat was entering her apartment in New York City. Since the attack, the police department has focused on finding this man, and the video of the attack have been played on the networks in the city, accross the country and on the internet around the world. There is a part of myself that fails to understand how someone could be so low as to attack someone who was clearly so helpless. All the attacker got from the attack was $33.
John Couey was given the death sentence
This may not be news for a lot of people, because it happened a couple days ago. I wanted to take some time to think about what I wanted to say about this. Is this justice, I don't know. You can't bring the dead back, you can never replace the loss in those peoples lives, which sounds like I might be suggesting it is. However killing Couey is not going to address the feelings of loss and pain in the Lunsford family. You want to see someone suffer for a crime that they committed, I want to see someone suffer for the crime. Will this prevent the next crime, could it have prevented this one?
