Pajamas Media » Is Obama the Democrats’ Reagan?

Pajamas Media » Is Obama the Democrats’ Reagan?:

"The central conceit of Barack Obama’s candidacy is that he is a new
kind of politician. His race aside, there is little about him that is genuinely
refreshing; although he is young, there have been younger candidates, and he
would not be the youngest president, if elected."

I am not a huge fan of Obama, but I think it is true that he has the ability to shape the party for years to come.

'Into the Wild' pilgrimages increase in Alaska - Yahoo! News

'Into the Wild' pilgrimages increase in Alaska - Yahoo! News:

"HEALY, Alaska - Ron Alexander has long been intrigued with the true story of a
young idealist who met his death in Alaska's unyielding wilderness in 1992."

This is a sad testimony to the low reading ability of the American public. I read the book, and in the book "Into the Wild", it is made abundantly clear the mistake that was made by McCandles and how it was a foolish trip, romantic but foolish. I think there is a deeper lesson in the book, and when I read it, it made me think about my family. The one thing the book talks about, which people over look, both in the book and in their lives.

This is a major chain in England, so this could be a real cut to the economy of Zimbabwe.

DNC protests will be behind fence - The Denver Post

DNC protests will be behind fence - The Denver Post:

"The fence around the public demonstration zone outside the Democratic National
Convention will be chicken wire or chain link, authorities revealed in U.S.
District Court today."

If all the protesters were there to peacefully express themselves, and their opinions about the war, this wouldn't be a problem. I would like to think that this is the case. However there are people there who would like to throw rocks, and who will use violence as a means of dissent. There needs to be protection to prevent these people from causing harm.
