"LOS ANGELES, Calif. (September 21, 2007) – Britney Spears has been charged with
misdemeanor hit and run, Access Hollywood has learned. The LA City Attorney’s
Office filed charges on Friday afternoon against Brit, including one count of
hit and run causing property damage and one count of driving without a valid
California driver’s license. The misdemeanor charges, which stem from an August
6 parking lot incident, each carry a maximum penalty of six months in jail and a
$1,000 fine."
How bad can things get for Britney. It is hard to not feel bad, even though this accident is clearly her fault, and the charges rest on her lack of action.
