"BOGOTA, Colombia — A member of the military mission that tricked Colombian
rebels into freeing 15 hostages wore the insignia of the International Red Cross
during the operation, President Alvaro Uribe said Wednesday."
This is a cause that I think was right, but still this is a big mistake. Everyone needs to be able to trust that the red cross is the red cross. The red cross has worked hard to be an agency that can be trusted by everyone, and known not to takes sides. This trust allows them access to prisoners, and allows them to treat them.
