At a news conference now under way in Chicago, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was just asked about independent contender Ralph Nader's charge that he is trying to "talk white" to appeal to voters.

Nader is a fool for saying this. Not only is it one of the most racist things to be said in the campaign so far, it is a clear attempt to get attention. It makes me think that his whole run is about attention at any costs. If Nader had thought about this for a moment, he would have understood how bad this would make him look. He would also have seen how easy it will be for people on the right, who are deeply racist but know better than saying anything, to use Naders words against Obama. Who is Nader working for?

Do they keep him in a closet between elections. I don't care if Bloomberg runs or not, I think that one New York major in the race is enough. I don't see how he can reach the population and win them over.

Nader AGAIN??? Please god let this not be true, I would rather watch a Tyra Banks sex tape than another presidential bid by Ralph Nader. Listen to him talk about how Bush and the Republicans and the Democrats are the same. This is the clearest election in recent memory, the parties are farther apart on key issues than they have ever been. Of course there are issues where they are in agreement, but that does not mean that they are as similar as Nader has tried to make us believe.
