Best Week Ever » Blog Archive » THE BABY ULTIMATUM: Parents Who Take Their Newborns to See Movies at 11 PM on a Sunday Should Be Sterilized

"What surprised me about this situation wasn’t so much that sociopaths are
allowed to bring such young children into a movie — much less procreate at all —
but more so that nobody said anything. NOBODY! Numerous attempts by Eagle-Eyed
Collins (me) to locate this child were unsuccessful. Weren’t the people sitting
next to this kid on the verge of absolutely losing their f**king minds?! About
45 minutes into the film, when it was clear this kid was being bottle-fed
cocaine, I offered up a nasty “Sssh!” to no avail. A few minutes later, another
woman seconded me. Are you all so spineless as to not stand up for a quiet
theater in which to be entertained?! SHAMEFUL"

Who would take their baby to see a movie at 11pm and let it cry through the whole thing. What was their concern for the child, that they kept up that late hour. If it was crying so then it must be have been unhappy to he there, to be upset to be there.

What was their concern for the other people who had to sit through the noise of the baby, after having paid for the movie. When you go to see a movie at that late hour you expect that it is to be an calm experience, one unhampered by the cries of a baby.

It is antisocial behavior to take a child of this age into a movie, a lack of public concern that is clearly disturbing. Movie theaters should not allow children into movies at that hour of the night.
