It concerns me that the situation appears to be so tense right now. Just the right spark could set of a war with Iran, would France come into the war, and would it play a part in Iraq? The standard argument I have given is that Iraq would spiral further out of control. It could be that force from Iran would be cut off or diverted, and the Iraqis faced with an open threat could unite to stand against Iran. America would be involved for sure, Israel would be dragged into the conflict by the Iranians and the Saudis could also play a role in the conflict. Oil all around the region would dip in production.
