Brooke Shields tells it like it is — Top Socialite

Brooke Shields tells it like it is — Top Socialite:

"I always feel like the odd mom out, because, trust me, when I tell you
I’m on my girls,” she says. “And every time I am, I know from the outside it
looks like I’m an overbearing, controlling parent. But I don’t think we have any
responsibility to anybody else but our kids and ourselves.” As told by Redbook
Magazine."

She has a solid point here, we can see clearly enough what attempting to your children's friend has done for Lindsay and Dina's relationship as well as Britney and Lynne's. Parents need to be parents sometimes, and even when the children are older and you can't force their behavior - you can tell them it is wrong and not make excuses for them.
